Faldaro

Changelog

What shipped, dated. Everything here is in the product today and described in the documentation. The engine, workflows, payments and documents that the entries build on shipped through the summer.

September 2026

  1. Faldaro is the intake platform

The site now says what the product is for: work that arrives from outside the organization. The homepage shows a record being worked rather than a form being built, and three new comparison pages cover Formstack, Fillout and Anvil.

  2. Plans repriced

Team and Business moved to their new prices; extra seats on Starter and Team were repriced with them. Free and Starter are unchanged, and nothing is ever billed as overage.

  3. Import a PDF on the homepage

Drop a PDF or a photo of a form and it comes back as a draft, with no account. Nothing is stored; the document is read once to draft the preview.

  4. Approvals by email

A workflow action mails each approver their own approve or decline link. The verdict lands on the record with a name, a comment and a timestamp, and fires the transition you chose.

  5. Community template gallery

Publish a form as a template and ask for it to be listed. A public link can now offer “clone this design” and show its response count as social proof — both opt-in per link.

  6. The records release

Submissions as a table, a board, a calendar or cards. Per-record tracking links, shared report pages and badges, scheduled report digests, @mentions, linked-record fields, publish-as-template and a submitter portal reached by a mailed link.

  7. Hosted MCP server

Point Claude or any MCP client at your account with an API key. Your model builds forms, files submissions and runs reports with exactly that key’s permissions. A stdio bridge, @faldaro/mcp, ships on npm.

  8. Form insights and predictive models

Analyze a form’s submissions into a narrated report with executed drill-downs, and train models on your own records to predict workflow outcomes, flag unusual records and explain their drivers.

  9. E-signatures

Request signatures from a workflow: per-signer links, a frozen and fingerprinted document, an evidence trail, and a certificate page appended to the signed PDF.

  10. Email-to-form

Every form can have its own address. Forward a message and it becomes a submission with attachments attached, the sender verified and the workflow started. Comments and attachments on submissions shipped alongside.

August 2026

  1. The field library

Save reusable groups of fields and insert them into any form. Insertion copies, so published forms stay immutable.

  2. The facsimile document engine

Upload the PDF you already send and its exact layout becomes the document template, filled from the record when its state changes.

  3. Single sign-on, branding and retention

OIDC single sign-on for Enterprise organizations, organization branding on public pages, and per-form retention schedules with provable purges.

  4. Standing agents and AI credit packs

Agents that work a form’s submissions on a trigger or a schedule with an explicit privilege grant, metered in credits, with prepaid packs as the one way to buy more.

  5. API keys, Slack and webhooks

Machine credentials with a stated privilege set, a versioned evaluate-and-submit API, Slack cards on notifications, and signed webhook deliveries to any allow-listed endpoint.

  6. Plans, payments and refunds

Self-serve plans with entitlements, Stripe payments priced on the server with split payouts, digital product delivery on settlement, and operator-initiated refunds.
