Job applications with a pipeline behind them

A hiring form is easy; hiring is what happens after — screening, routing, interviews, and candidates hearing back. On Faldaro each application is a record moving through states you named, with resumes attached, reviewers assigned by rule, and every candidate answered by the workflow instead of by whoever remembered.

  • An application, not an attachment

Structured questions plus the resume upload, in one record — screening reads answers side by side instead of opening thirty PDFs, and conditional fields ask engineers and designers different things.

  • Your pipeline, as states

Applied, Screening, Interview, Offer, Hired — or whatever your process actually says. Moving a candidate is a separate, permissioned act from editing the record, and every move is audited.

  • Silence is a choice, not a default

Acknowledgement on apply, updates on transition, a real answer either way at the end — each one a workflow effect configured once, sent to the address the candidate gave.

  • Hiring you can report on

Applications by role, by source, by state, over time — reports run on the live records with grouping and aggregation, so the Monday pipeline review is a saved report, not a spreadsheet rebuilt by hand.

Built from the same parts as everything else: the builder, workflows and reports for the pipeline review.

Questions

Hiring on Faldaro, plainly

Can candidates apply without creating an account?

Yes — the application is a public link, and nobody signs up for anything. Resume and portfolio uploads work anonymously too; the files arrive attached to the application record, not in a shared inbox. Anonymous submission is throttled by default, and a captcha can sit in front of it where your operator has configured one.

How do applications reach the right reviewer?

Workflow rules assign from the application’s own answers — role, team, location — and notify the assignee. Reassignment is a transition like any other, gated and audited, so “who is sitting on this?” always has an answer.

Do candidates hear back automatically?

Each transition can send a templated email to the address the candidate gave — received, moving forward, or a considerate no. You write the templates once; the workflow keeps the promise on every application, not just the ones someone remembered.

Can applications sit unreviewed for weeks?

Only if you let them. A state can carry a deadline — “in Screening more than ten days” — that fires a transition by itself: escalate it, flag it, notify someone. The deadline is part of the published form, so it holds even when everyone is busy, which is exactly when it matters.
